Ashley Antoinette

Ashley Antoinette Coleman is one of the most successful Black writers of her time. She has written over 40 novels, including the coauthored bestselling Cartel series. Several of her titles have cracked the New York Times bestsellers list, but she is most widely regarded for her fan favorite, the Ethic series.

Born in Flint, Michigan, she was raised with an innate street sense that she has used as motivation in her fictional stories, but her upbringing isn’t just reflected on the page, it also helps her dominate in the boardroom.

Picking up a deal with publishing powerhouses St. Martin’s Press and Simon & Schuster, she has made history in Black fiction, selling over 1 million copies worldwide. Her talents have transitioned to television and film, with her developing television pilots for Warner Brothers and Universal Television. She is currently executive producing a television series for Paramount and BET based on her bestselling book series, Ethic.

Ashley shows no signs of slowing down. The multi-hyphenate is also a literary agent at Europa Content with notable clients like Tamika D. Mallory, Danielle Allen, Jesseca Dupart-Harris, and Grammy nominated rapper, Da Brat.

When she isn’t negotiating deals, Ashley continues to pen highly anticipated fiction bestsellers. Writing about crime, love, resilience, triumph, loss, and womens’ issues, Ashley is writing her way into the hearts of Black women everywhere, while also helping other authors of color obtain a seat at the publishing table.

In her spare time, she co-owns, Boujee Hippie, an 8-figure, partnership founded to promote wellness for women of color. She is also the founder of Aspirecon, an annual conference that celebrates community, creativity, and entrepreneurship, of women who have been denied access to the resources and relationships needed to take their dreams to the next level.

Ashley Antoinette Coleman is a wife, mom, creative, and laser focused businesswoman who is determined to write her name in the history books.
